Over Thanksgiving, we traded turkey for Tromsø snowflakes and headed north for a magical Arctic escape. Highlights included feeding reindeer, chasing the elusive northern lights, and simply soaking in the peaceful stillness of Norway in winter. The snow-covered landscapes and deep blue skies felt like stepping into a fairytale.

On our way home, we had a one-day layover in London — just enough time to wander under the glowing Christmas lights of Regent Street and enjoy a night at the theatre watching The Lion King in the West End.

From the silent shimmer of the aurora to the roar of the savannah on stage, it was a holiday week full of contrasts, color, and unexpected joy.
