We closed Memorial Day Weekend with a visit to Müllerthal, a region often called “Little Switzerland” for its dramatic rock formations, forests, and winding trails.
After the emotional weight of the cemetery and the intellectual depth of Luxembourg City’s history, Müllerthal felt like a natural exhale. Massive stone pillars, mossy paths, and narrow gorges created a landscape that felt ancient and untouched.
The area has long been shaped by water, wind, and time — much like Luxembourg itself. Hiking through it, surrounded by towering rock walls and filtered light, was the perfect way to end a weekend that balanced remembrance, history, and beauty.
