Lilienstein & Dresden Football 🇩🇪

Lilienstein is one of the most iconic table mountains in Saxon Switzerland, offering breathtaking views over the Elbe Valley and the surrounding national park. The hike up is moderately challenging, with well-marked trails leading through forests, rocky paths, and occasional staircases carved into the sandstone.

At the summit, panoramic vistas stretch across the dramatic rock formations of Saxon Switzerland, with the winding Elbe River far below. On a clear day, you can see the Bastei Bridge and even as far as Dresden. The plateau is dotted with historical markers, including an obelisk commemorating King Augustus the Strong, who once climbed Lilienstein.
