2023 Norway Snow, Stars & Stage Lights: Tromsø to London
Home
After a well-deserved sleep-in, we started the day with visits to two fascinating Tromsø attractions. First up was the Polarmuseet (Polar Museum), where we dived into Norway’s rich history of Arctic exploration, hunting, and survival. The exhibits bring to life the grit and daring of early polar adventurers—a perfect way to connect with the spirit of the region.
Next, we explored the quirky and charming Troll Museum, dedicated to Norway’s legendary trolls and folklore. It’s a fun, family-friendly stop filled with whimsical exhibits, handcrafted troll figures, and stories that add a magical twist to the day.
After soaking up history and myth, we headed to our next adventure: checking into a cozy glamping tent tucked away in the wilderness. This wasn’t just any tent—it had a fireplace for warmth and a transparent roof, perfect for star and Northern Lights gazing from the comfort of bed.
And as if the experience wasn’t magical enough, we even spotted a moose and her baby nearby—wildlife moments like that truly make you feel part of the Arctic wilderness.
A day blending culture, comfort, and nature—Tromsø keeps surprising us!

Now on to the Troll Museum
