Before heading to the airport, our last unforgettable stop was visiting a reindeer camp with the Sámi people, the Indigenous guardians of northern Norway’s Arctic heritage.

Gathered around a cozy fire, we were served traditional reindeer stew—rich, hearty, and full of local flavor. As we ate, our hosts shared stories and folklore, passing down their deep connection to the land, the animals, and their ancient way of life.

It was more than just a meal—it was a genuine glimpse into Sámi culture and history, a meaningful farewell to the Arctic adventure that had touched our hearts.

A perfect closing chapter to an incredible journey in Norway’s far north.
