We headed northeast to San Cristóbal de La Laguna, a UNESCO-listed town with old-world charm and a relaxed energy that’s easy to fall in love with. As the sun dipped low, we wandered its narrow, colorful streets, soaking in the architecture, lively cafés, and cool mountain air.

The next morning, we ventured into Parque Rural de Anaga—a world away from the beach scenes of the south. Winding roads led us through ancient laurel forests and up to jaw-dropping viewpoints overlooking rugged peaks and wild coastline. The views? Absolutely worth the twists and turns.

After all that fresh air and hiking, we made our way down to Playa de Las Teresitas, a golden beach lined with palm trees just outside Santa Cruz. A peaceful swim and a bit of sunbathing rounded off the day before heading back to rest.

From misty mountain trails to the shoreline—Tenerife’s north showed us a completely different kind of beauty.
