We wandered the ramparts of Castello di Venere, an ancient Norman castle perched on the cliffs. From there, on a clear day, you can see all the way to the Egadi Islands, but even with the fog, it was breathtaking. The views felt like looking out over the edge of a dream.

Erice isn’t a place to rush—it’s a place to savor. We lingered over espresso in a quiet piazza, watched the clouds drift past the bell towers, and let time slow down.
